Innovative Empowerment Project for Women Scholarship

This is a once a while paradigm shifting and innovative program of Jamiatus Salihat, Uttar Pradesh, India—an esteemed and longstanding institution dedicated to the education and intellectual development of women in the Islamic scholarly tradition. For over 3 decades, the institution has played a vital role in nurturing female scholars equipped with deep understanding of Shariah sciences and a strong commitment to serving their communities.

An important and Bold initiative: the establishment and expansion of a specialized Ifta Training Program for Women Scholars. This program is designed to cultivate qualified female muftiyat who can provide authentic, contextually aware religious guidance, particularly addressing the unique needs of women in contemporary society.

The objectives of this program include:

  • Advanced training in Qur’anic exegesis, Hadith sciences, Fiqh, and Usul al-Fiqh
  • Practical exposure to fatwa writing (iftā) under senior scholars
  • Development of critical reasoning, ethical awareness, and application of classical jurisprudence in modern contexts
  • Empowering women to serve as educators, counselors, and community leaders

To successfully implement and sustain this initiative, we seek financial support from philanthropic institutions and partners who share our vision of educational empowerment and preservation of scholarly excellence.

Your generous contribution—whether towards full sponsorship or specific components of the program—will have a lasting impact in reviving and strengthening the noble tradition of women’s scholarship in Islam.

We would be honored to provide a detailed proposal, governance structure, or arrange a consultation meeting at your convenience.

We sincerely hope that you will consider supporting this noble cause and become a partner in advancing women’s Islamic scholarship.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
